Balti Chicken

Here is the recipe of Balti Chicken that easy to make.Balti curries are traditionally not very spicy so thats the good thing that u make your own curry so you can adjust the spiciness u like..Enjoy and hipe u like it.

For Marinade
500 g boneless chicken (breast or thigh)
5 cloves of garlic finely chopped
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/4tsp turmeric powder
1/2  tsp garam masala powder
1 tbsp ginger finely chopped

*Marinade the chicken in all the ingredients and set it aside for 3hrs in room temperature or u can refrigerate it.

3 red onion finely sliced
4 pcs tomatoes or 1 can tomato puree
4-6 pcs cardamons seeds, pounded in mortal and pestle
2 cinnamon stick
6 whole peppercorns
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
3/4 tsp garam masala powder
3 tbsp oil or ghee
1 tsp salt
Fresh coriander leaves to garnish
2 green chilli padis slit 


* Heat the gee or oil in a pot.Add the cardamoms cunnamon stick black peppercorns saute for 30seconds.

* Add the onions and chillie  padi slit saute for 10min

* Add the chopped tomatoes red chillie powder turmeric powder and salt.Add in the chicken mix well and cook in medium.heat for about 13mins stirring it occasionally intil the chicken is ,no longer pink 

* Cover and let it simmer for about 10 to 15 mins on a medium low heat until the chicken is cooked.

* Transfer into a serving plate garnish with coriander leaves
