Chicken Herbal Soup




I prepare this Chinese Soup recipe because of the aroma that fills yiur house when u staring to simmer it..At fiest you may not like the smell but when it simmer longer and when u taste that final soup it will gives you a unique sweet taste abd ita very relaxing..Chinese say that this soup is good foe blood circulation..Enjoy hope u will like it๐Ÿ˜Š


INGREDIENTS
3 pcs solomon seal
3 red dates
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp goji berries (gou qi)
3-4 pcs of chicken thigh (or 1 whole chicken)
3 pcs astragalus roots (huang qi)
4 pcs angelica roots ( dang qui)
3 pcs codonopsis roots ( dang shen)
Water

METHODS
* Wash the chicken thigh

* Blanch the chicken thigh in a hot boiling water for 10 to 12 mins or until all the chicken blood comes out already.this process is to help clean the dirt in the chicken

* Using a strainer strain the chicken and wash again set aside

* In a large soup pot put enough water being to boil in a high heat then pour in all the herbals simmer for 10mins then put in the chicken thigh cover and simmer in medium heat for about 45 to 1 hour.


NOTE
The longer you simmer the soup it  will become more darker.
